Next days after engagement were flying like butterflies.Trisha and Jeff met almost everyday.In the beginning of September Trisha along with Jeff planned for a picnic with her friends and with Jeff’s friends.They selected a beautiful tea-garden,6 km away from the town.They went there by a sumo car,they made food themselves and enjoyed the whole day.Jeff’s friends became surprised by everything they saw there – the beautiful tea-garden,it’s nature,it’s environment,it’s scenery and ofcourse they liked Trisha’s friends’ group.It was a very nice experience for them to have been in India.They came back in the evening.It was a lovely day for everybody.Jeff’s friends returned to London at the mid-september.They would again come on his wedding.

This whole month Trisha was busy with Jeff.They shopped some more garment and ordered for their wedding dresses.This time Trisha would wear maroon ghagra and for Jeff she selected a beautiful and gorgeous Sherwani.As the marriage would happen by the Hindu-custom so they both decided to be traditional.Trisha also ordered for a bridal-gown she would wear when they would marry in the church in UK.There in the UK function Trisha liked to be dressed-up according to Jeff’s custom.

At first when their marriage was fixed Panditji told once to change the religion of Jeff.Because according to Panditji,it was against the scripture that two people having different religion were going to marry by one religious way.But Soumili told that it was someone’s personal choice.So,she would not force Jeff to change his religion.If he wished then he could change.But Trisha and Jeff both decided not to change their own religion.What would be the differenceif they did not change their religion?When they started to love each other,they did not do this by changing their religion.So,now what was the need of that?

Soumili did not comment anything on this.Because personally she did not like that one should change his religion and she also did not like Trisha to change her religion.So,what she did not want for her daughter,how could she want it from Jeff or tell him to change his religion.Infact Soumili had not that much problem with their religion and Albert Stevens also had no problem  if Trisha and Jeff had different religious belief.

The October was a hectic month for everybody.Soumili was busy to arrange the full marriage occasion.She had so many things to manage.

Trisha was also engaged sometimes with Jeff,sometimes with herself,sometimes with her wedding plan,sometimes she helped her mother to arrange some thing and sometimes she was busy her admission form and some documents needed for her further study in the University.

Jeff was also over-crowded in his business.It was growing rapidly.He already got some wealthy contract and started the work.There were so many ins and outs he had to keep his eyes.Everyday he had to visit the sight place where his work was going.He opened a small office and also employed some people.In a word it was a heavy going and Jeff had to manage all of these before his wedding.Sometimes Trisha visited to Jeff’s office and she helped him some of his paper work.They lunched together and went out for some walk or to pass sometime together.

Now-a-days Jeff often visited Soumili’s house and maximum days he took dinner with Trisha and Soumili in their house,then sometimes gossiped with them and backed to home.

Now Jeff learned Trisha’s language somewhat.It was so sweet when Jeff spoke in Hindi.Soumili and Trisha always laughed when Jeff tried to speak in Hindi and every sentence was a wrong sentence.Gradually Soumili also started to love Jeff.He was really a nice boy and pretty well mannered.

The furniture Soumili ordered for Trisha’s room was delivered to Soumili’s house in time.There were two separate wardrobe,one for Trisha and one for Jeff,one reading table,a big double bed,two small tool-recks at the two sides of the bed,one big oval-mirrored dressing table and two small single sofa with a small glass table.Normally Trisha’s room was very big and now it looked perfectly a couple’s room.Soumili added a big television and VCD player in that room,made fix one or two more light,bought some antique show pieces to decorate the room and made cover the floor by soft red carpet.

Even in the bathroom attached with Trisha’s room Soumili made an extra reck door specially for Jeff to keep his own personal toiletries.Previously there was only one reck-door for Trisha.Soumili thought that till these days only two women were staying in this house and now a man was going to stay in that house.So,Soumili was very much concerned about Jeff that he should not have any single problem at staying in her house.
